World History (B)
"Industrialized Commercial...the ability to sell our qualities & strengths with harmony."
Objective: Students are rehearsing their ability to both academically read fluently and transmit their understanding through collaboration.
Collaborative Instruction:
- Students will have 5 minutes to pitch their commercial storyboards for the board of directors (teachers). This Rough Draft Pitch will symbolize the groups readiness and awareness of both the rubric and objectives
- Commercial Project Rubric Due April 1 (No Fooling)
Guided Instruction:
- Inference Reading Exercise #2 - Venn Diagram / Unionization
- Teacher's Observations
- What is Evidence of Reading?
- How does one "Inference"?
- How should we react when we don't understand what we read?
Objective: Students are rehearsing their reading ability through investigation of Cold War perspectives as well as through primary documents.
Independent Instruction:
- Students will complete a clarifying table based of off our Cold War Vocabulary
Collaborative Instruction:
- Discuss our Depth of Reading T-Chart based on Cold War Perspectives
- 8 minutes to review your Vocabulary Words
