Mon. March 28 - History Class


World History (B) 

"Industrialized Commercial...the ability to sell our qualities & strengths with harmony."

Objective: Students are rehearsing their ability to both academically read fluently and transmit their understanding through collaboration. 

Collaborative Instruction: 
  • Students will have 5 minutes to pitch their commercial storyboards for the board of directors (teachers). This Rough Draft Pitch will symbolize the groups readiness and awareness of both the rubric and objectives
  • Commercial Project Rubric Due April 1 (No Fooling) 
Guided Instruction:
  • Inference Reading Exercise #2 - Venn Diagram / Unionization
    • Teacher's Observations
      • What is Evidence of Reading? 
      • How does one "Inference"? 
      • How should we react when we don't understand what we read? 


Post WWII...New Kids on the Block? 



American History (B)

Objective: Students are rehearsing their reading ability through investigation of Cold War perspectives as well as through primary documents.


Independent Instruction:

  • Students will complete a clarifying table based of off our Cold War Vocabulary 

Collaborative Instruction: 

  • Discuss our Depth of Reading T-Chart based on Cold War Perspectives
  • 8 minutes to review your Vocabulary Words

Guided Instruction:
  • Bring Headphones For Tomorrows Class!
  • Winston Churchill's Iron Curtain Speech
  • Reading Processes
