Wed. May 3 English 10 (B), Myth II, AP Lang.

ENGLISH 10 (B)

Purpose: Integrate ideas through the analysis of various accounts of the same subject & medium.

 Direct Instruction: No Phones or Ear Buds for 8:00 Minutes
  • Identifying Persuasive Techniques in Documentary 
Independent Instruction: 
  • Locating Examples in Film 
Collaborative Instruction:
  • Identify Missing Assignments in Power School 
  • Remember all "Reading" Assignments are weighted Heavier. 
MYTH II 

Purpose: Making strategic use of digital media to enhance understanding of thematic purpose. 
  •  "We Video"...Editing & Applying Theme w/Captured Footage.


AP Language

Purpose: Maintain a formal style and objective tone while attending to the norms and conventions of the discipline in which they are writing.

  • Drafting a Letter & Considering both the Audience & Writer
